Why I started writing in public

Not because I had answers. Because I needed to find them.

I started writing because I couldn’t synthesise what I was reading.

Books, articles, threads — I’d read them, nod along, feel like I understood something, and then a week later I’d have nothing. No clear idea. No sharp thought I could point to and say that changed how I see things.

Writing forced me to slow down. To actually figure out what I believed.

That’s what Notakaki is. Not a newsletter. Not a content strategy. Just me trying to understand life, one idea at a time — and putting it somewhere so it doesn’t disappear.

If something here is useful to you, good. If not, that’s fine too. I’m mostly writing for me.
